You know, I think I actually have an entire gallery dedicated to “camel toe” tattoos (seriously), but this is the first “moose knuckle” tattoo I’ve seen (don’t know what that is?). This was done by Johannes at Chronic Tattoo in San Diego, California…

It probably won’t last (I’ll post a follow-up if there’s something to post), but this writer’s fingernail got torn off at work, so they thought “why not get a skull tattoo” (done by Jake at Alkali Tattoo and Body Piercings in Janesville, WI) and see what would happen… Yes, it hurt a lot.

Dan’s little inner finger tattoo of a pair of scissors (“I just really like scissors, it’s that simple”) really healed exceptionally well I think given the tough location. It was done by Gavi Snider at Sacred Art Tattoo in Corvallis, Oregon.

Wesley’s “LEMONADE” knuckle tattoos are a great idea as is, but the lemon and glass (although I would have done a lemon and a citrus juicer personally) on his thumbs put it over the top. They were done by Brent at Eternal Body Works in McKinney, Texas.

I’m actually going to try and not fill my spare moments this weekend with ModBlog posts, but continue work on more interviews for next week. Thanks to everyone who’s helped out on them so far, and thanks to readers who’ve posted interesting commentary as well. There’s an image update uncompressing right now, and I’ll be back on Monday.
EDIT: For some reason today’s update seems to have — as Jayson put it — “usurped” the previous update. I won’t have a chance to re-insert the previous update’s pictures over the weekend, but it’s a simple fix and I’ll do it on Monday most likely.
The tattoo below is by Keegan Lam (another home artist) by the way; I quite like the simplicity of the design.

I’ll post another shot of Sicko later today but let me put up this teaser of the great hand work that Marc at Swastika Freakshop in Radolfzell, Germany hand poked on his hand… Because of the nature of the skin in the hand, hand poking (or stipple technique in general) works far, far better than machines most of the time.
