This organic flower pod design by Philip Milic (pmtattoos.com) out of Oakland, CA has got to be one of the nicest tattoos I’ve seen in a long time, and the kicker is, if you go to his page and browse through his work, it’s all this nice… Really amazing stuff.
You can and should click to zoom in.

This beautifully executed and I suspect quite tricky triple daith placement was done by Rion, a piercer of 17 years, who works at Deep Roots Tattoo in Seattle, Washington. I believe this may actually be the first triple daith I’ve ever seen, come to think of it!

Check out these amazing snowflake scars by Ryan (see his scar-specific site) from Precision Body Arts in Nashua, NH. After the break there are some photos of pieces he’s just added to this skin removal leg sleeve, as well as another example of a fresh and healed piece he did.

You might have noticed in the John Joyce interview, that near the bottom there’s a shot of him doing a hip/rib cutting (at Scar Wars III). It’s on Gogo_Savvy, and the healing has been amazing, with pronounced and even keloiding… Check it out!

Since everyone seemed to like the last Giger sleeve I posted, I wanted to add Bosko’s biomech bodysuit, largely inspired by Giger pieces — he’s 49, and the fomer CEO of a top firm in Serbia. The tattoos were done over two and a half years by Boban at Bomba Tattoo in Novi Sad, Serbia. The tattoos were done with Talens India Ink instead of regular tattoo ink because Bosko developed an allergy, which eliminated their ability to do standard graywash shading in the piece.

Full photos continue after the break. On his back is a large Giger baby with machine gun arms based on an exhibition photo, on his right side is Giger’s Samurai painting, and a biomech girl on the right, and his belling is based on Giger’s Landscape XVIII.

Ron Garza, John Durante, and Chris Glunt have been exploring the world, and recently found themselves at San Marcos on Lake Atitaln in Guatemala — $10 a night accommodations — and after doing some 50ft cliff dives, already high on adrenaline, Chris suspended with two 6ga hooks and rigging tied to a boulder. Looks like an amazing experience — continue reading for more photos, and add their pages to your reading list to follow their adventures of course.

The opposite of the previous entry I think… Ivers’ great HR Giger inspired sleeve was done by Jannicke Wiese-Hansen at Let’s Buzz! Tattoo & Piercing in Bergen, Norway. Continue reading for more photos.

This stunning red and black dotwork tattoo was done by Dan DiMattia of Calypso Tattoo in Liege, Belgium — the red really puts it over the top.

Ben Pass’s amazing vegan sleeve was done by Russ Abbott at Ink and Dagger in Atlanta, Georgia. No offense to the bacon armband, but I think this is by far my favorite food-themed tattoo to date.

I love when photography is modification based. When the mods are done for the photo, rather than the other way around. Like these corsets done on tinaxo (photo by Stephen Ellis).

And that would be AnGeLinPayN peeking out, who also has some great pictures of this very photogenic girl, which will be posted later.

Mike may have found the secret of how to walk to on water.
Step 1: Pull hard
Step 2: Run like hell
Knowing how to swim is advisable before attempting this.

DarkIndigo says that she’s “turning blue and white, like china”. I like her all blue tattoos a lot — the leaves are being done by Scott Garriepy at 1st Ammendment Tattoo in Simi Valley, CA, and the Newgrange-inspired spirals were done by Kim Durham at Prix in Hollywood.

These great portraits (all on one person, not on three friends as I’d initially hoped) were done by Jeff Gogue at Gogue Art in Grants Pass, Oregon… These photos were taken after the first seven hour session at the Motor City Tattoo Convention.

A while back I posted a pair of shaped implants — an ice cream cone and a cupcake — recently after Brian (Pure Body Arts, Brooklyn NY) did them on Squirrelgirl. They’re healed now, and the definition on them is amazing, so I thought it would be good to post them and show how they look now.
