    #2: I have tattoos on the inside of my ring fingers like that, and I thought that people would really notice them. However, my experience has been that NOBODY notices immediately, and most people never notice unless they are pointed out. A few people will notice them out of the blue simply because I move my fingers a certain way, but this is rare.

    I really like inner finger tattoos :)

    lol, kt. for some reason your comment made me laugh alot - and i don’t even think the tattoo is that dumb! I guess it just struck me as funny. anyway, i think the photo is so good because of her hysterical expression.

    #2/anabot — My finger tattoo is in the same location (due to working in a “no visible tattoos” industry), and it is very rare for people to notice it. People don’t look at others’ hands very much. Also, because hands so often bear assorted marks (pen ink, scars, dirt smudges, paint splatters) and they are not a common location for intentional mods, I think glimpses of such tattoos are unconsciously dismissed. From those who do see it, the first question I get isn’t the usual “can I see your tattoo?” or “did that hurt?” but rather, “is that a tattoo on your finger?”
