Bestill my frozen with rigor mortis non-beating heart! Big hair, tattooed cleavage, piercings (pierced zombies you say?), and a smoking problem. Dunno why, but I can’t stand smoking myself, but jeez do I have a fetish for it. Anyway… Enough of writing things that’ll make miss_quoted potentially feel uncomfortable — thanks to her for this shot from the 2006 Calgary Zombie Walk.

So IAM is currently teeming with people posting shots of their Halloween costumes and makeup, I thought I’d post at least a couple here before I leave for the fundraising show (listen in between 11PM and 2AM EST if you’re interested in community radio). Anyway, here’s a shot of Vidman and Miss.Vicious in Waterloo:

Steve had his old face replaced by husband and wife team Colette and Rob Thompson — each did one side — at Holy Mother in Atlanta, Georgia.

This horrific ear cheese build up is from a customer of James Wisiewski at Body Electric in Hollywood, CA that really needs to pay a little more attention to cleanliness. Seriously, this is the most vomit-inducing picture I think I’ve posted. So gross.

Sickgirl13 sends in this great photo of my friend La Negra suspending at Hanger 110 in Sao Paulo, Brasil. She just got forth generation horns by Emilio Gonzalez as well — you can see more pictures on BME and on her IAM page.

I’ll start with one that’s fairly standard in terms of jewelry for unusual industrials, other than the wonkiness of looping it through the piercings. This custom made piece was done by Oliver at Danse Sabbatique in Tecate, California.

These next three examples using very pretty custom jewelry are all by El Verno at Holy Macherel/Visual Addiction in St. Paul, MN. From left to right they’re a three way industrial with a trillion cut stone, a 6×6mm princess cut cubic zirconia in a vertical industrial, and finally a very cool six-point custom inner cage.

Nice color modulation — check out the alternating colors of the hubs. For those that aren’t into play piercing, the hub colors are indicators of the gauge of the needle, so Juan Manuel Burgos (Buenos Aires, Argentina) was alternating gauges as he facilitated this ritual.

I don’t know why Toadie titled this picture of her and Mimi “little chicken”. I assume that she can tell the difference between a chicken and a duck, so I’m thinking it must be the duck’s name. I say that because I can’t tell the difference between a duck and a goose, but that’s excusable I figure. Either that or it’s a hideously deformed chicken.

I’m assuming that this is on a personal trainer or weight training instructor (yeah, feel the force of my brilliant deductery) — it was done by Luka who tattoos in Banja, Bosnia which is not a place I regularly receive tattoos from.

By “my” I mean the caption the photo came with, not that it’s me literally (not that I don’t also have tattooed undies). These are my friend Werner’s tattooed and pierced genitals and pubic region, and of course his lil’ snail buddy.

I skip rope so badly that I’m convinced the only reason worth doing it at the gym (I go to a boxing gym) is so that other people can have a chuckle. xKRISTAx on the other hand, is hopefully far more coordinated. Or maybe she just learns from negative reinforcement… I’m sure if I pierced the ends of my skipping rope into my back, after a few stumbles I’d quickly improve!

You know, when I first started getting pierced and tattooed, it was very uncommon to meet parents and soon-to-be parents that were modified… These days though, as this community ages and grows, it seems more and more normal, to the point where it no longer seems even the slightest bit odd to see a heavily tattooed or otherwise augmented parent — in this case, Lonchura. I wonder how we’ll respond to our kids that rebel against us by trying to act ultra-normal?

PS. It’s her birthday on Sunday too if you want an excuse to say hello.

You can’t go wrong with skulls and wings (at least not if you’re Roman, German, or American — or want to be)… Definitely a chestpiece style that almost always turns out for the best — this example c/o sacredheart is by Pat Carmack in Austin, Texas.

Tommy T from Huntington Beach, CA sends in this picture of some nipple piercings he did with 14ga 3/8″ gemstone barbells in order to illustrate why I can not be a professional body piercer — all together too many dirty thoughts in my head to be around half naked people all day…

Would you like Brown Sugar (by USA Tattoo in Petersburg, VA) or a helping of White Devil (by Patrick Benner at Hallow’s Eve in Palmyra, PA)? My advice? Both are fun.
