We got this neat picture from Maddalena from Naples — she has a natural hole in her soft palette and decided it might be better with jewelry.

    Probably not worse than closing a ring on a uvula piercing. Things like this are always cool to see.

    Lori, this have nothing to do with gag reflex.
    it does not touch the uvula.
    you can try touch that area with your toung.. its quite pleasent.

    IG - I don’t have any feeling in my uvula; my gag reflex is higher in that surrounding tissue… I guess it’s different for everyone.

    yeah i have a really far back gag reflex.
    due to my lack of a tounge web i can stick my tounge pretty much down my throat or up my nose depending on how i feel ha.

    I think this would be a really annoying piercing to have. I would constantly be wanting to swallow whatever was stuck at the back of my throat.

    Kinda strange and dangerous really if you think about it, but I sure as hell can’t help it!
