Obviously it’s intentional since he’s French himself… but I couldn’t stand having a spelling mistake tattooed onto me. Oh well, he can always correct it later I suppose. It’s a really sweet tattoo nonetheless.
Oh I LOOOVE that one :)) The line is great and this atmosphere :)))
i’ve thought long and hard about it and i cant figure it out. what body part is this?
Looks like the calf to me, or possibly underneath the upper arm… but calf seems more likely.
Woops, I take it back… it definitely looks like the underarm.
Proncess… it’s a play on words. She’s called “AnnaBELL”, without an ‘e’, so it’s “La plus bell” spelt similarly, I’d imagine….
Something like “Betti is pretti” or something….
having studied french for so long the typo is the only thing that stuck out to me, but i love the unique design on the bird, reminds me of this other innovative artist whose name i always forget.
I agree with pr0ncess. Though i think the mistake is intentional and supposed to go with the name.
Man though, that E is really buggine me…
Of course, I cannot BEAR to look at incorrect french
It’s about as annoying as hearing somebody confuse a Manet and a Monet!
I also read very big books
Ouais, the missing “e” bothers moi aussi, hosti. :P
I think the last ‘e’ is missing to match her name, not because it’s a spelling mistake per se.
I already said that. :)
i love how unique tattoos from france always look. Is it just me, or do they always seem to have the most unique tattoo ideas and artwork?
hahaha, ellis!
As much as the missing “e” is making me writhe too, I love that bird. Look at the shading inside — the texture is so painterly, and that makes a powerful contrast with the linework. Sex-ay.
Ohh I totally love Lionels work…just found out he’s going to be in the UK in March, I’m far too excited! :]]]
